Company anniversary: 100 years of Valrhona

For the 100th anniversary of the Valrhona chocolate factory, a corporate event was organized on June 20, 2022 in the Rhône-Alpes region. The festivities continued over 3 weeks, with approximately 110 participants present each day.

Corporate event on the theme of travel

On the occasion of Valrhona's 100th anniversary, CWR Meetings & Events contacted us to participate in the organization of the company's anniversary which took place over 3 weeks: June 20th, June 27th and 28th, and July 4th and 5th. The theme of this event being the journey, the company transported its employees to new horizons through different workshops. For this, we created different spaces dedicated to these workshops and installed furniture of natural inspiration inviting to escape.

Our infrastructure for the 100 years of Valrhona

Atawa brought a global offer for this corporate event: structure, floor, furniture, decor, sanitary facilities, lighting, sound, photo, video and energy.

The reception and lunch area under the bamboo tent

For the reception and the lunch, we installed an imposing 200 m² Bamboo Marquee, fixed by staking to the ground to ensure optimal stability. As the location of the tent was not straight, we installed a floor on a frame which was levelled and equipped with an access ramp so that the participants could access it easily and safely.
The small details were also thought out for this high-end corporate anniversary. To hide the gap between the floor and the ground, an elegant burlap skirt was installed around the structure.

The village square: a presentation space on the theme of the oasis

Near the lunch area, Valrhona wanted to create a village, called the oasis, for the presentations and the relaxation area of the seminar. At the heart of the village, a 220 m² Sailcloth Marquee was installed on a custom-made floor and covered with a jute skirt, based on the Bamboo Marquee model.
This space was furnished with sofas and armchairs from the Bali range, a Pacific trellis bar, as well as woven poufs and steel barstools with a wooden top. The atmosphere was natural and exotic as desired by the company. A custom-made podium of 6 m² was also designed for the occasion, offering an elevated space to the various speakers.
We provided the necessary equipment for the sound system and the animation of this space: speakers and a screen diffused a background music and a video continuously under the tent.

The catering office

Two Pagode tents were installed to accommodate the catering area. For the comfort of the service providers, we installed a floor on a metal frame. To facilitate access to the catering office, we installed an access ramp.

Workshops to liven up your company's anniversary

Valrhona organized workshops to animate its company anniversary. To host these workshops, we created four 50 m² spaces under two pagoda tents joined together with the installation of a natural eco-responsible floor. The furniture was then adapted to the theme of each workshop while respecting the natural and travel-inspired theme of the event.

Installation of locker rooms and sanitary facilities

A 25 m² pagoda tent was used for the changing rooms, with skirting and jute cloth covering the floor. For the sanitary facilities, we installed ecological dry cabins.

Some elements for a successful corporate anniversary!

At Atawa, we are convinced that the success of a corporate event comes from its decor and atmosphere. With this in mind, we brought our know-how in event decoration by creating the skirting of the different structures and a custom-made podium for the presentation area. To create a unique atmosphere for this corporate anniversary, we provided the screens, the sound system for all areas and ensured the electrical distribution from a cabinet provided by the client. As the event took place outside in the middle of summer, all our installations were completed with fans for the comfort of the participants.

Finally, we ensured the security of the site with barriers around the event area, but also garden barriers to ensure the safety of the guests of a ditch present on the site. In total, we installed 76 barriers of 2 meters high to protect the participants and the organizers. We also installed water and CO2 fire extinguishers and coordinated the permanence of technicians to ensure the smooth running of the event.
