A country wedding in Bourgogne

On September 6, Saint-Aubin-Château-Neuf was the setting for a country wedding attended by 120 people in a warm and joyful atmosphere. Nestled in the heart of this artists' village, the venue chosen for this union was transformed by the Atawa teams to meet the expectations of the bride and groom.

A 180 m2 Stretch tent and much more

An elegant, functional space

The centerpiece of this celebration was a 180 m2 stretch tent. The tent had an elegant floor and the ceiling was adorned with string lights. The outdoor area was equipped with folding tents for the dance party. The transitions between the different areas of the event were seamless.

Refined furniture for a convivial atmosphere

The furniture was carefully chosen by our teams to bring a touch of casual elegance to the whole. Bamboo chairs with unbleached seats and dining tables covered with a tablecloth in the same tones stood alongside a palisade bar and cross-shaped steel and wood sideboards. In addition, Palissade Pacific table-tops were used for a refined yet comfortable dining experience.

Tableware and lighting for a magical ambience

The art of the table takes on its full meaning at Atawa, as we pay attention to the smallest detail. From the beige Marjorie tablecloths and gold-rimmed plates to the metal-edged candle holders, elegantly shaped glasses, vintage cutlery and even fridges to ensure the freshness of the food and beverages served throughout the evening, our team of professionals had everything under control.

Lighting, too, played a crucial role. Omnipresent, yet discreet, were spotlights illuminating the façade, garlands in the trees, and evening lighting. This well thought-out play of light was responsible for the fairytale atmosphere of the event.

A high-performance sound system for a festive atmosphere

To ensure a festive atmosphere, Atawa supplied a complete sound system for the evening and the ceremony, including a smoke machine for the dancing. And to avoid any power cuts, a generator was also installed to guarantee a reliable source of energy throughout the event. Finally, sanitary facilities were installed to offer comfort and convenience to all guests.

An upstream technical survey to understand site constraints

A technical visit was carried out by our team a few months before the event to get a feel for the site and its specific constraints. A notable detail of this visit was the apprehension of a complex terrain. By complex terrain, we mean the presence of a tree where the tent was to be erected. In the end, we succeeded in integrating the tree into the floor, enabling the tent to be erected without compromising the integrity of the site, despite the steep gradient. This pragmatic and ingenious approach testifies to Atawa's expertise in managing the challenges of event organization.
 

A tailored event

The event unfolded in multiple parts, tailored to the preferences of the newlyweds. The ceremony took place under the tent, followed by a cocktail in the courtyard, a dinner under the main structure, and then an animated dance party in the courtyard or barn. The unique aspect of this evening? The newlyweds wanted the dancing to start as early as 9 p.m.
