Winter wedding reception in Normandy

THIS WINTER THEMED WEDDING TOOK PLACE IN A BEAUTIFUL CHATEAU IN NORMANDY ON 14TH DECEMBER 2019. THE BRIDE AND GROOM CHOSE TO CELEBRATE THEIR WEDDING UNDER AN ELEGANT CRYSTAL TENT: WARM AND ROMANTIC ATMOSPHERE GUARANTEED.

A chic wedding in the Eure

The newlyweds chose to celebrate their wedding in the Eure region of France, in the setting of a magnificent picturesque château in Normandy. As they were getting married in December, but still wanted to enjoy the view of the castle and its courtyard, the newlyweds opted to rent an enclosed marquee.

The young couple was seduced by a Cristal tent that was elegantly installed in the castle courtyard. In order to make the tent fit in with the location and dimensions, Atawa took care of the production of the 3D allocation plan.
With a surface area of 300 m², the structure could easily accommodate 250 guests. The structure was designed and decorated to create a warm and cosy atmosphere in keeping with a winter wedding. Atawa set up large banqueting tables surrounded by Lousianne chairs in bleached wood with taupe-coloured seats. In the centre of the marquee was a pretty garland of branches, white roses and baubles, in keeping with the centrepieces of the table which were decorated with plant garlands and white flowers. 

Finally, in order to create a warm reception area, carpeting was laid on the floor.

A warm event in the middle of winter

The event was powered by a powerful generator. In order to ensure that all guests could enjoy a comfortable temperature (20°) during this winter wedding, our team chose to equip two professional heaters with thermostats in the Cristal tent and a heater for the catering office. A heater cover was used to make the heater less visible but still effective. For safety reasons, a second generator was available on site as well as a technical standby. 

Atawa also took great care with the atmospheric lighting and lighting effects to give the event a fairytale winter theme. The exterior of the castle was illuminated throughout the evening, creating a sumptuous play of light on the stones of the castle and on its beautiful fountain.
