Royal wedding at Courcelles Castle

Royal wedding at Courcelles Castle

Wedding reception in a castle in the Aisne

Welcome to the Château de Courcelles, a Louis XIV style building dating back to the 17th century... Be careful though, we are not in a new episode of "Secret d'Histoire" but in the wedding of Cécile and Clément who said yes in June 2018 in this place full of history.

Rent a Cristal tent in harmony with the beauty of the place

A French garden, a canal, a Charmille labyrinth, an outdoor swimming pool, a forest and above all, a sublime castle now transformed into a 4-star hotel in which Christian Dior and Jean Cocteau have stayed many times...
This was the setting that Cécile and Clément chose to celebrate their union.
And to blend in with this ultra-refined environment, nothing beats the Cristal tent. During the day, its transparent canvas allowed the guests to enjoy the beauty of this 23-hectare park while letting in a nice natural light, while in the evening, a few coloured LED spotlights were enough to transform the tent into a magical party place.

White and blue decoration for this castle themed reception

To organise this event, Atawa worked hand in hand with the staff of the Château de Courcelles and Cécile and Clément's wedding planner. The Atawa teams provided a 150 m2 Cristal tent with a floor, a 60 m2 terrace, round tables, heating and the icing on the cake: a chandelier hanging above the guests.
For the decoration of the venue, the couple opted for white and blue, decorating all the chairs with a big navy bow and the tables with beautiful raised bouquets of blue and cream flowers.

There is no doubt that this marriage would have made Louis XIV and Stéphane Bern jealous!
