Wedding on the beach in St Tropez

Wedding on the beach in St Tropez

Waterfront wedding reception in Provence

A chic and elegant wedding on a beach in Saint-Tropez in the Var region. It is with their feet in the water that our lovers said yes to each other during a secular ceremony on the beach. They then enjoyed the view under an elegant nomad tent.

Mariage sur la plage à saint-tropez

Bucolic wedding on the beach in Saint Tropez

In the middle of September, the hustle and bustle of the holidaymakers has gone, the warm water has calmed down. It is here, on a beach of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez that a young Parisian couple decided to get married. A bucolic ceremony on hay bales covering the fine sand.
Behind them, a restaurant, or rather an institution known throughout the region: the Bouillabaisse. Atawa has transformed and enlarged it, for one evening. 300 m2 of terrace were added to the existing one. The floor was cut to size by one of the team's decorative carpenters.
A 300 m2 stretch tent, configured to counter the Mistral wind, covered part of the beach. The sides of the tent were folded down to better shelter the hundreds of guests seated and to contain the mildness of this summer evening.

Rental of a nomad, furniture and lighting on the beach theme

In addition to the stretch tent, Atawa provided the furniture for the dinner. In order to stay in the bucolic and beach theme, white and elegant furniture was used: white square chairs and a large banquet table covered with a white tablecloth.  As for the lighting, spotlights were placed at the foot of the eucalyptus poles, sometimes 5.5 metres high in the centre of the tent, to create a magnificent play of light under the canvas of the nomad tent.
For a chat, or a break during dinner, a lounge area was also set up with armchairs and sofas, also sheltered by the tent.
The next day, guests enjoyed a brunch in the shade of the tent before taking a dip in the salt water while listening to the notes played by an orchestra of musicians.
