Normandy wedding under a transparent tent

Normandy often rhymes with rain... And on September 9th, it didn't fail, it even invited itself to the newlyweds' party. Fortunately, Atawa was there to shelter them and allow an outdoor wedding, in the very green garden of the beautiful thatched cottage.
On 9 September 2017, the Indian summer seems far away, it is raining everywhere in France and even more so here in Normandy. All the more frustrating to feast indoors, locked in with the 180 guests... Atawa had an idea!

Rent a crystal tent with a view of the stars

To enjoy the garden without getting wet, Atawa installed a huge, fully transparent 225m² crystal tent with a panoramic view of the park, the half-timbered house and the shady sky. A grass-carpeted ramp linked the tent to the garden as if nothing had happened.
A decorator dressed the trusses and poles in a beautiful cotton scratchboard. During the dinner, the 180 guests were seated on Louisiana bamboo chairs around beautifully decorated round tables.
The caterer was in a 36m² tent next to the main crystal tent. The waiters came and went, their arms full of delicious food.
In this cool late summer, the dance floor was not enough to warm up the guests, so Atawa had provided heating. And what about the lighting? The practical and aesthetic team illuminated the tent from inside and outside, with the green trees of Normandy in full view...

Last minute change for a successful wedding

For the cocktail party, Atawa had planned four 9m² pyramid tents. However, two days before the wedding, the weather became worse and we had to make arrangements. The responsive team added three 24m² folding tents to accommodate all the guests. Atawa once again shone with its pragmatism and adaptability...
