Bucolic wedding in Indre-et-Loire
Country wedding reception in a hunting estate
To celebrate their wedding in August 2018, Géraldine and Quentin pulled out all the stops: two days of celebrations organised on a family estate in Beautertre, in the Indre-et-Loire countryside. The bucolic wedding took place outdoors under a pretty bamboo marquee.
A bucolic wedding in the Indre et Loire countryside
The celebrations began on Friday in the summer heat, with a cocktail party bringing together 400 guests in the estate's green gardens. Wanting a wedding that was both bucolic and original, the couple opted for a 250m2 oval Bamboo marquee, with white or champagne-coloured canvas stretched over natural bamboo poles. In order to accentuate the natural and bucolic aspect of their event, Géraldine and Quentin also opted for braided rope fixings, in some places covered with sections of ivy.
A wedding with a natural, country feel
For dinner, the 220 guests were served juicy veal chops on solid wood planks, just like the naturally finished furniture supplied by Atawa. The table plan was made up of large wooden panels, each with a magnificent hunting trophy.
Atawa was in charge of almost all the infrastructure, lighting the sky with its own lights - except for two outside spotlights - and providing the tent with a natural floor... and a staircase designed especially for the occasion, the floor giving our teams a bit of a hard time! The guests were able to enjoy themselves all night long to the rhythm of the music of DJ Alec de Loisy. The evening was a great success, and everyone came back the next day to have brunch and party again until the early hours!
