Spi Dauphine 2018
Rental of marquees for sporting events in the PACA region
From 14 to 21 April, 700 French students took part in the 37th Spi Dauphine, a sailing race in the South of France. Atawa was there, at the start and the finish, to encourage the young sailors.
Creating a village for the sailing event
The Mediterranean was alive with excitement for a week last spring. Atawa was on both port and starboard sides, in two ports.
Atawa sent two crews to the start and finish ports. One in Fréjus, the other in Port Grimaud, on the way to Sainte-Maxime and Saint-Tropez.
Both bivouacs consisted of a large 250m2 tent. The centre of the village, the place to party together once back on land after sailing... DJs kept the canvas vibrating every evening, from the beginning to the end of the regatta, without running out of steam.
15 pagodas of 9m2 completed each village. This is where the young sailors would get their supplies before embarking: they would collect instructions, food and race numbers... Two other 25m2 tents housed the much sought-after refreshment area.
A tent for start-ups
This year's innovation is a new addition to the finish line. In Fréjus, a 54m2 stretch tent was set up to house start-ups that came to make themselves known to the students during the event.
Like last year, Atawa once again shone in the organisation of this mythical event, which was celebrating its 37th anniversary this year...
