Idyllic weather, exceptional house wine and rental of a Cristal tent, all lulled by the song of the crickets... No doubt about it, Madeleine and Valentin's Provençal wedding in one of the oldest vineyards in Aix en Provence.

In June 2018, Madeleine and Valentin said 'I do' in the midst of the vineyards of Château Barbebelle, under the blazing sun of the South of France. Having recently taken over the reins of this family wine estate, Madeleine was particularly keen that this land, cherished by her family for generations, should be an integral part of this very special day. This challenge was met with success, as this fairytale wedding, both elegant and rural, was in perfect osmosis with the 300 hectares of surrounding nature, right down to the choice of wine served on the day, which of course came from the Provençal estate.

For the celebration, the couple opted for a 300 m2 Cristal tent, whose transparent fabric allowed the structure to blend into the decor of this magnificent property, a typical Provencal bastide several hundred years old. During the dinner, the 250 guests were able to enjoy the surroundings of the park thanks to the different lighting installed by Atawa, which subtly highlighted the abundant vegetation while creating a warm and subdued atmosphere inside the tent. The guests were also able to enjoy the dance floor, which was a refined 300 m2 floor that Atawa had to level for installation.
 

A global accompaniment with the rental of country furniture

Accompanying the bride and groom from the very beginning of this beautiful project in the Aix en Provence region, Atawa was involved in various ways, from advising Madeleine and Valentin on the choice of location for the Cristal tent to the decoration of the event, which was both rural and sophisticated. For the cocktail party, for example, authentic wooden barrels were placed around the swimming pool, while in the evening, twenty or so round tables occupied the tent, with freshly cut flowers in the centre of each.

A Provençal wedding in the open air made possible by the rental of a reception tent near Aix en Provence, and whose bewitching melody will probably still echo in the ears of the guests for a long time to come.
