Designing a Parisian terrace

Last July, Firmenich, a luxury company that produces fragrances and perfumes, organised an annual garden party for its clients. Atawa transformed their cold, asphalt terrace into a warm garden.

A huge glass building with an icy terrace, without charm or character. Yet on this summer evening, you forgot where you were. Like Cinderella, Firmenich was transformed for an evening.
First, a 35m2 stretch tent housed a lounge area with armchairs and sofas to sit and chat. With, all around, garlands of guinguette and party. A larger tent (75m2) covered the dance floor and the copious and well-kept buffet.

Beyond the result, Atawa took up the technical challenge offered by this atypical location. With a complicated access, the transport of the tents, the poles and the ballast blocks in order to install them on the elevated garden was not easy...
Fortunately, Atawa was able to work with the terrace's external environment, such as the fences and flower pots, to preserve the site, enhance it, even transform it and enlarge it by optimising the available space...
An elevated summer evening, in complete safety under original tents. A chic, country-style getaway in the heart of Paris, a successful gamble!
