Ephemeral structure for the Foire de Paris
Outdoor stand for the Foire de Paris
Organised every year at the Parc des expositions during the month of April, the Foire de Paris has attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors since its creation in 1904. A must-see event for Parisians, the fair is also becoming one for dogs... Explanations.
Creation of a customised temporary space
For decades now, visitors have been flocking to the Foire de Paris, a commercial event covering various areas of daily life, from housing to leisure, including gastronomy and fashion. The problem is that they sometimes come accompanied by their faithful four-legged companion, who they don't always know what to do with during their visit to the fair.
Based on this observation, the Affinity Foundation had the idea, in partnership with the Foire de Paris and the Ultima brand, to create a daycare centre for pets. A space entirely dedicated to dogs, run by professionals from the dog world, including a play area so that the animals can let off steam at any time of the day.
Hire of a marquee with event decoration
Following the project from start to finish, Atawa was able to show great flexibility in the modelling of the structure, offering 6 different quotes to the Strada Marketing agency in charge of the project. The team wanted to ensure that the event configuration was feasible and that the custom-made dog buildings could all be installed in the tents.
As a result, the agency finally opted for a pair of crystal tents - 6 x 6 metres and 5 x 5 metres - which were square and had a floor. One of the two tents also had a wood-coloured lino floor. All the finishing touches were done especially for the occasion by a decorator. A special touch that probably delighted all the four-legged guests.
