The Greater Paris Race

The Greater Paris Race

Rental of marquees for the Greater Paris Race

On 21 May, 10,000 runners took part in the Great Race of Greater Paris. 10 km between the Hôtel de Ville and the Stade de France. Atawa was waiting for them, behind the finish line.

The aim of this race? To support Paris' bid for the 2024 Olympic Games. Mission accomplished. The route linked the Hôtel de Ville to the Stade de France, passing through République, the Saint-Martin canal, the Saint-Denis canal and the Plaine commune... An ephemeral village awaited the runners at the finish.

Construction of a tented village for the sporting event

At the finish line of the Stade de France, Atawa set up an ephemeral village to welcome the 10,000 tired Gallic people. 11 pagodas of 25 m2 each housed the race's partners, displaying their activities to visitors. Each one had its own little cottage, lit and warm thanks to its wooden floor. In addition to the companies, there was also a physiotherapy stand to comfort the exhausted runners.

Another, much larger tent (225 m2) hosted start-ups invited to reflect on the problems of urban life in the years to come... The Great Race of Greater Paris is part of a spirit of solidarity and ecology, notably through the planting of trees per kilometre covered.
Finally, the hosts, the organising team of this great event camped under a 120 m2 tent, also set up by Atawa. It was here that one could discuss and drink with Muriel Hurtis, great champion of athletics and godmother of the Great Race of Greater Paris...
