Reception at the Champ-de-Mars

Reception at the Champ-de-Mars

Chic wedding in the heart of Paris

On June 16th, Atawa made it possible to celebrate a private birthday, made to measure and with great pomp on the terrace of a private hotel. The challenge? To welcome 125 guests in a 90 square metre garden, around an authentic stone table. Atawa adapted and made the most of this privileged location.

A parquet floor cut to size to optimise space

The terrace at the foot of the mansion was too small to accommodate all the guests for dinner, so Atawa extended it. How did they do it? By building a custom-made varnished spruce floor that flirts with the trees, flowers and groves bordering the private park. A meticulous and precise construction, all around the stone table, the undisputed queen of the garden.

Renting a transparent tent to enhance the environment

Above the parquet floor, the 100% transparent Cristal tent, measuring 90 square metres and 3 metres in height, made the most of the magnificent garden, in its prime, in the middle of spring. The vegetation was even integrated into the room, thanks to a closing system that went around the greenery. In short, it gave the curious impression of a large open-air dinner under the stars, yet sheltered and isolated from the ever-present wind. The sides of the tent were closed with stretched canvas, heated with a blowtorch by our team of decorators. Another high-end detail: the floor of the tent was skirted, covered with a fabric that hid the subfloor, combining comfort and beauty.

Hiring chic furniture in an atypical location

At the entrance to the tent, a carpeted slope facilitated access for the 125 guests invited to sit on Napoleon chairs around the large rectangular tables. When night fell, there was always time to contemplate the spectacle that nature offered, thanks in particular to the lighting. Self-contained spotlights projecting light nestled in the trees, discreet witnesses...

Atawa adapted to the environment and the space constraints of the terrace. It sought to increase the accommodation capacity as much as possible right up to the last minute, depending on the changing guest list. Atawa was also able to support its client from the outset, for example by offering a 3D model of her project as well as a layout plan. In short, a unique, tailor-made event.
