The finest talents in world endurance racing gathered at the Paul Ricard circuit in Le Castellet last April. On the programme was a series of tests in preparation for the FIA Endurance World Championship. For the second year in a row, Atawa set up a stand to carry out technical checks on the cars participating in the sporting event.
A prestigious automotive event on the Paul Ricard circuit
The first round of the 2019 ELMS (European Le Mans Series) Endurance Season calendar, the "4 Heures du Castellet" took place from 12 to 14 April at the Circuit Paul Ricard in the Var region of France. In anticipation of this eagerly awaited race - it marked the official launch of the season - two days of official testing took place on the 8th and 9th on the same circuit.
It was an opportunity for the teams and their drivers to take part in the traditional days of driving and testing, and for Atawa to make its contribution by setting up a 400 m2 stand where the technical checks of the vehicles took place.
Located on the heights of the Côte d'Azur, next to the town of Le Castellet, the Paul Ricard circuit is indeed a favourite with drivers and teams and has been hosting the Official Tests and the opening round of the season for many years.
Creation of a tailor-made car stand
In addition to a white canvas tent installed on the circuit and fully ballasted, Atawa supplied three 15m2 modules with convector and air conditioning. The package also included the ballast blocks and powerful lighting to enable the technicians to work on the cars with precision.
A total of 41 cars and 111 drivers took the start on Sunday 14 April for the first round of this 6-race season. The championship is due to end in Portugal, in Portimao, on 27 October 2019...
