Early September 2017. A look back at this private reception with an oriental theme in a magnificent property in Sologne for an evening in the open air, under the stars.

A private reception with a chic oriental theme

Turbans, sarouels and djellabas without forgetting Berber carpets and chichas, everything was in the theme of "the silk road". To keep with the oriental theme, Atawa set up a nomad tent: this unique tent evoking sand dunes, is the ideal structure for a private outdoor reception.

In the courtyard, at the foot of the majestic illuminated mansion, there is no sand but a large green lawn covered with colourful woven rugs.

Atawa housed the 130 travellers and street vendors in a 200 square metre stretch tent. But it also rented out all the furniture: chairs, tables, braziers and heated umbrellas to replace the sun after dark... Since starlight was not enough to keep the tired wanderers awake, Atawa lit the tent and the park with self-contained spotlights with amber light.

Two other tents completed the ephemeral camp: a tent for the caterer, another for the barbecue... And in case of a storm, the bivouac would have valiantly resisted thanks to its stakes.
