Bar Mitzvah at the castle of Villiers-le-Mahieu

Bar Mitzvah at the castle of Villiers-le-Mahieu

Organising an elegant Bar Mitzvah

Atawa got off to a flying start in September 2018, organising a Bar Mitzvah at Château Villiers-le-Mahieu in collaboration with the event agency Superplanner.

Rent a Stretch tent in the middle of old stones

Dating from the 13th century, this ancient fortress was transformed into a castle in 1642, then into a Château-Hotel some time later... But beware, a 4-star Château-Hotel! This is not surprising, since it is located only 40 minutes west of Paris. This exceptional setting includes three outbuildings, including a Spa, sumptuous gardens, a golf practice and a heated outdoor swimming pool.
An authentic and charming place where Atawa and Fiona, who run the Parisian event agency Superplanner, organised a Bar Mitzvah for 230 people.

An ephemeral structure in harmony with the castle

Offering a comprehensive rental package based on a previously produced 3D plan, Atawa installed a 20 x 20 metre Stretch tent directly on the garden lawns, offering guests an unobstructed view of the heart of the castle and its still water-filled moat. The nomadic canvas blends in with any setting, especially wooded and natural environments when erected on eucalyptus poles. This was fitting, as the elegant reception tent was surrounded by acres of forest and countryside.

Atawa also took care of the energy part of the event, the floor, the skirting and the LED lighting. Indeed, it would have been a shame to lose a crumb of this show, which took place under the benevolent eye of the castle's many stone statues... They didn't say it, but the unfortunate ones probably dreamed of being there.
