Primeurs Week at Château Carbonnieux
On the occasion of Primeurs Week, Château Carbonnieux, located in the prestigious wine region of Pessac-Léognan, wanted to organize a memorable event to present its new vintages. The event was scheduled for April and was set to host 200 guests. Known for its exceptional wines, the Château aimed to ensure that its guests received a welcome befitting its renowned reputation..
A Significant Challenge
Initially, Château Carbonnieux contacted Atawa for specific interior lighting, particularly floor spots, to highlight the nuances of its wines in the tasting room. However, after a series of discussions, it became clear that the needs were far more extensive. Infrastructure was also needed for the lunches scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of Primeurs Week.
The challenge was significant: finding a structure capable of accommodating all guests in the courtyard while respecting space constraints and the uncertainty regarding the exact number of attendees present at any given time.
Atawa's Proposal
To meet these complex needs, Atawa proposed a comprehensive and customized solution:
✨15m x 15m Crystal Tent with Flooring: A spacious and elegant structure capable of protecting guests from the elements while offering a stunning view of the château's surroundings. The flooring provided a stable and comfortable base for lunches and other activities.
✨White Cover Structure: This structure hid the metal frameworks and harmoniously integrated into the château's overall aesthetic.
✨Catering Area: A dedicated space for meal preparation and service, essential for ensuring a smooth and professional experience. The caterer for this large-scale event was Humblot. Known for its excellence, Humblot provided refined menus that matched the ambiance of Primeurs Week. Their team worked in perfect coordination with Atawa to guarantee an unforgettable gastronomic experience for the guests.
✨5m x 5m Crystal Tent with Flooring: Used for guest reception, this smaller tent offered an elegant and practical reception point.
✨Spot Lighting for the Tasting Room: Floor spots were strategically placed to enhance the bottles and create an atmosphere conducive to tasting, highlighting the subtleties of the presented wines.
The Added Value of Atawa
The initial project focused on specific interior lighting. However, by discussing in more detail with the client, the Atawa team was able to identify and understand the broader needs of Château Carbonnieux. It was crucial to propose a flexible structure capable of adapting to the venue's specific constraints and the uncertainty regarding the number of guests present simultaneously.
Atawa not only provided the necessary structures but also ensured perfect coordination with other service providers to have everything in place on the day. Through attentive listening and a thorough understanding of the château's expectations, we were able to offer a complete and adapted solution, thus ensuring the event's success.
Theme and Atmosphere
The desired ambiance was that of a château, with all the charm and elegance that implies. The clear roof marquee offered transparency that allowed guests to enjoy the beauty of the site while being protected. The white cover structure added a touch of elegance, transforming the tent into a space worthy of the grandest events.
The decorative elements were chosen to reflect the history and nobility of Château Carbonnieux. The tablecloths, floral arrangements, and even the lighting were all designed to create an atmosphere that was both warm and prestigious, conducive to the tasting of primeur wines.
