Organisation of a chic and elegant gala dinner

On 20 March 2019, the Fondation Paris-Dauphine celebrated the university's fiftieth anniversary at a prestigious gala dinner. A unique evening organised in the heart of the campus.

A prestigious event for the Fondation Dauphine

This was the first time that the University of Paris-Dauphine organised an event of such magnitude within its buildings: a prestigious gala dinner that celebrated both the fiftieth anniversary of the Paris-Dauphine Foundation and the launch of a historic fundraising campaign among alumni in order to "Invent the future together". 

As a former Dauphinois, I accompanied and advised the Foundation throughout the project so that everything could take place in the greatest serenity," explains Maxime, one of the co-founders.

A tailor-made gala in the courtyard of the Parisian establishment

As the gala dinner was organised in the university's inner courtyard, Atawa opted for a 375 m2 Cristal tent. This structure, with its transparent canvas, is both elegant and refined, allowing guests to enjoy the beauty of the outside environment. The 300 guests from Dauphiné were thus able to enjoy a play of light projected on all the façades of the building, plunging them into the nostalgia of years gone by. 

Inside, the atmosphere was refined thanks to design furniture - round tables, Napoleon chairs, table-top tables, a dressed podium... - and sophisticated table decoration. In the centre of each table, we combined floral arrangements signed by our partner Pampa with glass bells housing LED garlands. The event was in perfect harmony with the decor, including the subdued lighting in the blue colours of Dauphine... It should be noted that the entire electrical distribution was provided by Atawa. 

Assistance with video recording and editing

During the dinner, various talks followed one another, accompanied by videos projected on a giant screen. Among them, a film presenting the new wing of the university made by us. The evening was also enlivened by various musicians, including a pianist who took long walks. 
The icing on the cake was the fact that we were on hand throughout the event to ensure that everything went smoothly, whether it was the sound system, the temperature or the lighting.
All in all, this evening was a perfect illustration of the complete offer that Atawa can provide for a corporate event, which was immortalised by one of our videographers.
