Rental of a stretch tent for a corporate cocktail party in Paris 
 

On 28 June 2018, the association Vivre & Devenir celebrated its hundredth anniversary in the north-east of Paris, in Villepinte, the association's historical birthplace. A magnificent sunny day punctuated by dancing, singing, speeches and a cocktail party, which took place in the shade of a Stretch tent open to the outside.

One hundred years have passed since the Sisters of the Congregation Marie-Auxiliatrice founded the association "Vivre et Devenir - Villepinte - Saint Michel" (formerly known as the Association de Villepinte) in 1918. Disability, child protection, dependency, palliative care... Today, Vivre et Devenir welcomes, cares for and accompanies more than 1,300 people in fragile situations throughout France. To celebrate this symbolic anniversary, the association organised a ceremony in the grounds of the Sainte-Marie hospital in Villepinte, under a magnificent Stretch tent. Aesthetically pleasing, this nomadic structure blends into any environment thanks to its waterproof canvas, eucalyptus poles and wooden floor. Open to the outside, it is ideal for enjoying the good weather in summer, as was the case on this sublime day in June. In addition, its stretch fabric is extensible, allowing greater flexibility during an event. 

Renting the stretch tent and renting modern furniture

Bringing together more than 300 participants, the centenary was punctuated by poignant and warm moments, in the image of the association: a plethora of speeches; a choir and a choreography orchestrated by the "Étoiles d'Orient" company from the Foyer and the Maison d'accueil spécialisée Saint-Louis; a multitude of stands presenting the know-how of the association's establishments and a cocktail party held in the shade of the Stretch tent. On this occasion, several table-top tables were set up as well as more cosy areas with sofas and low tables for those who wished to sit down. The icing on the cake was a stage that matched the furniture and was placed in the centre of the tent for the various interventions.
Accompanying the association Vivre & Devenir throughout the project, Atawa was committed to being reactive in the event of a last-minute change of infrastructure, for example in case of bad weather. Fortunately, even the azure blue sky and the sun were present, turning this centenary into an exceptional day.
