Biolabs inauguration at Hôtel-Dieu de Paris

On July 6, 2023, Biolabs inaugurated the first French site dedicated to the healthcare innovation community, which will eventually bring together around 100 startups.

This unique corporate event took place in the very heart of Paris's Hôtel-Dieu, on Île-de-France.

An exceptional layout for an inauguration at the Hôtel-Dieu de Paris

For this inauguration, our client wanted to bring together a hundred or so guests at the Hôtel-Dieu, headquarters of this recent group of companies. As the event took place during the summer months, an interior courtyard was set up for the occasion.

A Cristal awning was installed opposite the chapel, occupying the entire width of the forecourt. Chic and refined, this aluminum-framed structure clad in transparent fabric blends perfectly with the site. By opting for a discreet shelter and uncluttered furniture, our customer preserved the site's emblematic environment, to the delight of his guests.
 

A floor was installed for optimum comfort, along with inclined access ramps to facilitate circulation between the different areas. This floor was fitted with a skirting to conceal its installation. Cross-shaped white-topped steel tables, soberly adorned with a small, natural table decoration, enabled guests to exchange ideas over a drink between two presentations. Two reception desks clad in white lackfolie, set up on either side of the awning, held glasses and drinks.

For an atmosphere that was not intended to be festive, but rather enthusiastic, strings of lights and spotlights on the ground illuminated the structure and its surroundings.

The configuration of this historic site complicated the installation of the structure. As the site was not easily accessible to our teams, they had to adapt. However, the result was incredible, as can be seen from the photos taken on the day.

The Hôtel-Dieu hospital in Paris was the scene of a remarkable corporate inauguration. Presentations and speeches were the order of the day for the launch of this unique site in France, destined to become a mecca for healthcare innovation. A sound system was available for the speakers, who were able to express themselves as easily and clearly as possible for the entire assembly. The speakers, for whom a lighted lectern was set up on a landing of the stairs leading to the chapel, dominated the audience. In addition, a giant 75-inch flat-screen TV was set up nearby, to broadcast additional information. Finally, steel and wood chairs from the Trocadéro range were set out in front of the grandstand, which, although improvised, had nothing to envy the finest stages.

To ensure the success of our customer's event, one of our professionals was on hand to provide technical support during the entire inauguration. So, in the event of a problem with the installation, he could intervene at any time on both the video/sound and lighting fronts.
