Online event with the Hopin platform
Video capture for Content Square in Paris 8e
With the health crisis, new ways of communication and presentation have become more common. Whether in the personal or professional field, many people now need to hold digital meetings, video recordings or digital events. Content Square approached Atawa for a presentation. The company needed a relevant partner who would take care of the video recording, the technical control room, as well as the live streaming on the Hopin platform.
A complete control room with the virtual event specialist Hopin
Atawa provided the necessary equipment for the "web-conference" video recording in the We Work coworking space located in the 8th district of Paris. A complete system - allowing video capture with live stream retransmission on a platform provided by the client, named Hopin - was set up. This service included the use of 3 cameras, a complete control room (sound, image and control screen) managed by professionals, microphones, screens, speakers for the presenters and the public, and a Pavlov system.
Using Pavlov's remote control system, presenters could scroll through their presentation on a dedicated screen in line. The second, larger screen was mainly used to dress up the back of the stage and provide a modern and professional atmosphere.
It was a "phygital" meeting, in which part of the audience attended the event in person, in Content Square's premises (in the WeWork rue de Madrid in Paris), while the other part did so remotely, via the retransmission of the presentation via the Hopin video conferencing platform. On site, 20 people attended the digital event (not counting the staff sent by Atawa to ensure the meeting went smoothly).
A lively digital meeting that all participants enjoyed
During the hour-long live session, the 3 speakers presented their presentations without a hitch. The participants were able to ask their questions thanks to the moderators present who selected the questions of the participants as they went along. Indeed, in order to avoid the meeting being cut off too regularly, interactions were possible between the participants and the speakers only at the end of the virtual meeting.
Content Square chose Atawa to manage the entire digital event, including pre-designed scripts and a topper. The topper is the person who works with the client before the event to develop the live event. He or she plays the role of conductor during the live event to ensure that the timing is respected and that the various participants know exactly when and where to intervene. In the end, thanks to good preparation before the event and good coordination with the topper's role, everything went smoothly and the company was able to demonstrate the extent of its know-how, thanks to an excellent quality video recording.
