A family reception with a jungle and nature theme

In the Jewish community, the bar mitzvah is a very important milestone in the life of every observant Jew. It celebrates the religious coming-of-age of 13-year-old boys. What better way to mark this unique passage than with the most beautiful party possible? Atawa has therefore organised a party that corresponds as closely as possible to the family's wishes, in a natural and warm atmosphere at the Relais de Neuville, in Gambais.

An unforgettable bar mitzvah in a tropical jungle setting

The family chose the Relais de Neuville as the setting for their young son's bar mitzvah. The venue is an exceptional event space because of its beauty, history and architecture. Built in 1701, the Relais is located in the heart of a Louis XIV style farmhouse, and consists of a square courtyard typical of large seigneurial estates.
It is in this prestigious family property that the family planned to immerse their guests in a jungle and nature atmosphere. The following decor was therefore proposed: the installation of an imposing 300 m² extendable nomad tent, reminiscent of the habitats used by explorers in the last century. A dance floor was placed in the centre and the rest of the space was occupied by round or rectangular tables, cross-backed chairs and a wooden counter. Natural materials were favoured for the event. 

The tent and the furniture were enhanced by the decoration made by Made by Jess. To give a wild jungle feel, beige tablecloths with animal motifs (giraffe, zebras, etc.) or forest motifs were installed, as well as straw and bamboo hangers and Kentia leaves for the table decoration. Made by Jess integrated many plants in the table decoration to accentuate the free nature aspect.
Comfort was also important for the organisation of this reception. The focus was on comfortable cushions in beige tones, but also on upholstered seats and sofas with soft seats. Those who didn't feel like dancing could sit back and enjoy being with their friends and family.

A complete organisation for a festive bar mitzvah

Atawa also planned to keep the 122 guests moving with the installation of a podium and turntables for the DJ. A caterer was also chosen on site to take care of the guests' appetite, without the family having to lift a finger.
As the event took place during the health crisis, the organisation of the event had to take into account government restrictions, such as curfew. The reception therefore took place during the day, with special coordination devoted to the rapid installation and de-installation of the facilities. This did not stop the King of the Party from having fun, enjoying his family and friends. 
The festive atmosphere was present, the food presented was tasty and the smiles of the guests were a testament to the smooth running of the bar mitzvah.
