Fast Forward Events, a Belgian event agency, aimed to organize a memorable annual corporate event in Marquette-lez-Lille. The event was scheduled for December, hosting 300 guests. This event was to reflect the client's prestige and excellence while providing a comfortable setting despite the harsh winter conditions.

The Challenge: The Season

Initially, Fast Forward contacted Atawa for the supply and installation of structures suitable for a winter event. The main challenge was ensuring optimal comfort for the guests despite subzero temperatures and the risk of snow.

Effective solutions for thermal insulation and heating were necessary, while also ensuring smooth logistics and an elegant atmosphere for the gala dinner planned for Sunday evening.

Atawa's Proposal

To meet these complex needs, Atawa offered a comprehensive and customized solution :

✨Main Tent (15m x 45m) with Glass/White Cladding : A spacious and well-insulated structure capable of protecting guests from the cold while offering an unobstructed view of the surroundings. The glass cladding added a touch of elegance, transforming the marquee into a warm and welcoming space.

✨Additional Tents: Extra structures for the caterer, technical control room, and cloakroom, ensuring optimal organization and efficient service.

✨Flooring: To provide a stable and comfortable floor, essential for an event of this scale.

✨Custom Decoration: Pleated velum on the ceiling, carpet on the floor, and cotton draping on three sides to create a warm and elegant atmosphere, perfect for a gala dinner.

✨Glass Doors: Facilitating entry and exit while retaining heat inside.

✨Fuel and Electric Heaters: Powerful devices to ensure a pleasant temperature despite the winter weather.

Anticipating Potential Risks

The initial project focused on providing structures suitable for a winter event. However, in more detailed discussions with the client, the Atawa team identified and understood the broader needs of Fermentis. The main concern was ensuring a comfortable temperature inside the main tent. Atawa addressed this by installing fuel and electric heaters, using glass/white cladding for better thermal insulation, and adding glass doors to prevent heat loss.

The desired ambiance was that of an elegant and warm corporate event despite the winter's harshness. The weather conditions were particularly challenging, with snowfall and subzero temperatures. However, the Atawa team managed these challenges by regularly resupplying the fuel heaters and installing rolling mats to facilitate the passage of delivery trucks.
