Our ideas for an original event

A team building event in the middle of the Tozeur desert, the construction of a temporary eco-responsible camp for a seminar or the organisation of an artistic festival in the forest of Mortcerf... The possibilities of organising original events are infinite and yet, to make them a reality sometimes seems to be a utopia. Legitimate doubts, however, today innovation in the events sector allows for the greatest originality.

1.  Tailor-made structures to serve your creativity

"Today, infrastructures are capable of bending over backwards to sublimate a place", explains one of the co-founders of Atawa. The proof is in the garden party organised in 2018 by Firmenich. Wishing to organise an event that would "surprise its guests", the Swiss firm gave Atawa carte blanche.

As a result, even they were impressed by this entirely wooded bridge structure, designed and built especially for the occasion. "An innovative custom-made creation that we have since marketed," says Maxime, one of the co-founders of Atawa, proving that the creation of customised concepts makes it possible to hold original events.

2. Conquering unusual spaces with ephemeral accommodation

As a nature lover, you dream of leaving your offices for a seminar and being able to privatise a field to think differently about the projects you are working on. A rich idea that you have not yet realised, however, because of a major dilemma: where and how to accommodate each employee? 
Fortunately, there are solutions, including the installation of temporary accommodation around your event venue, as organisation should never be seen as an obstacle to inventiveness. Atawa has also imagined an eco-responsible seminar with the founders of FAGUO: two days of adventure in the forest by installing 12 accommodation Tipis and a reception Tipi, a central living space.

Tipis or private hotel rooms built for an evening or more allow you to privatise a unique place without worrying about whether or not accommodation will be available on site. However, be careful that the originality of your event does not interfere with its smooth running.

3. The Cristal tent, a structure at the cutting edge of elegance

In addition to tailor-made creations, it is possible to organise original events by renting existing event infrastructures. Among them, the Cristal tent is a refined structure par excellence whose transparent canvas allows it to blend into the landscape.
Whether for a product launch, a sports event or a festival, the visual effect is guaranteed. The proof in the pudding is in the organisation of the gala dinner at the University of Paris-Dauphine where Atawa opted for a 375 m2 Cristal tent. The 300 guests were able to enjoy the beauty of the outdoor environment in a purely designed infrastructure during a sit-down dinner.

A word of advice: keep in mind the number of people attending the event to ensure that there is room (standing/sitting) for everyone.

4. A virtual tour to help you turn your ideas into reality

Designing original events also requires careful attention to detail, says Aymeric, co-founder of Atawa. "We are convinced that the little things change everything," he explains, taking as an example the creation of a customised stand for the UNYCK consultancy firm, transformed into an oriental palace for the 2018 management fair.  

Atawa recommends that you design your project in 3D beforehand, as you did for the stand at the Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas. This innovative process will allow you to visualise the location of your event from top to bottom, so that you can project yourself and pay particular attention to details such as the covering of a structure or the vegetation. Decorative elements that will allow you to create an event that is off the beaten track! 

5.  Innovation for entertainment purposes

While it is important not to neglect the form of an event, it can also be interesting to show originality in the content. And to entertain guests at a fashion event or a sports competition, there is a wide range of innovative event entertainment.
